Danielle Lesser Named to Crain’s 2023 “Notable Women in Law” List

We are proud to announce that Danielle Lesser was named to Crain's New York Business 2023 list of Notable Women in Law. Danielle was included among 100 leading female attorneys who excel in their practice at New York's leading law firms, raising the bar of excellence in a range of legal arenas, from labor and employment to real estate and intellectual property. The honorees were nominated by their colleagues for achieving precedent-setting victories, as well as finding time for pro bono and mentorship opportunities.

As a partner and business litigation chair at Morrison Cohen, Danielle Lesser leads a team of 40 lawyers while maintaining an active practice litigating business, real estate and employment-related disputes. In addition to steering national retailers such as Kenneth Cole through negotiations and court cases, Danielle guides real estate clients in crisis and dispute resolution involving leases and joint ventures. She mentors young female lawyers regarding business generation and client development and works to promote diversity through lateral hiring. Danielle is a member of Morrison Cohen’s executive committee, and she was recently appointed chair of the New York City Bar Association Judiciary Committee.

“Anyone who knows and works with Danielle recognizes that she is an incredibly skilled litigator and a standout leader in law. Not only is she an exceptional lawyer, she is also committed to mentoring women associates and positioning other women and lawyers for success,” said Morrison Cohen Chair & Co-Managing Partner Y. David Scharf. “We are thrilled that Danielle has been included on Crain’s prestigious list of Notable Women Law.”
