SCR Engineers Ltd. and VocalTag Ltd. Sue for Patent Infringement

Morrison Cohen has commenced a new patent infringement suit on behalf of its clients, SCR Engineers Ltd. (“SCR”) and VocalTag Ltd. (“VocalTag”), in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. SCR and VocalTag are pioneers in cow and milking production technology. The suit concerns the infringement of two SCR/VocalTag patents for rumination monitoring. SCR and VocalTag have used the technologies covered by these patents as part of systems used to monitor millions of cows on thousands of farms worldwide, including in the United States. The suit alleges that defendant Agis Automatisering B.V., which has begun selling its CowManager SensOor product in the United States, is infringing both patents.

Morrison Cohen is representing SCR and VocalTag along with patent co-counsel Sutton Magidoff LLP. Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. is acting as local counsel in Wisconsin. The suit is captioned SCR Engineers Ltd. and VocalTag Ltd. v. Agis Automatisering B.V., Civil Action No. 13-CV-612.
