Morrison Cohen Obtains Favorable Decision for Principals of Campus Evolution

July 27, 2015 – Morrison Cohen LLP successfully represented two principals of Campus Evolution -- in their individual capacities – in a case arising from a 2012 deal involving the purchase of a Texas student housing business.

In a favorable decision for the firm's clients, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas granted our motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction with respect to one of the defendants and granted our motion to transfer the case to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York with respect to the other remaining defendant.
