Littlejohn & Co., L.L.C Announces Agreement to Sell Direct ChassisLink, Inc. to EQT Infrastructure II
May 13, 2016 – Morrison Cohen client Littlejohn & Co., L.L.C., a private equity firm investing in middle-market companies, announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to sell its portfolio company, Direct ChassisLink, Inc., to EQT Infrastructure II.
Direct ChassisLink is a leading provider of essential transportation assets and services. Operating throughout the U.S. in strategic port and intermodal locations, Direct ChassisLink owns a substantial fleet of chassis that it leases to container shipping companies and railroads. EQT Infrastructure II is a European-based fund investing in medium-sized infrastructure businesses in the Nordic region, parts of Continental Europe, and North America. The cross-border transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Morrison Cohen has represented Direct ChassisLink since its inception in 2012, when Littlejohn acquired Direct ChassisLink from Maersk, Inc., and has advised the company through a number of strategic add-on acquisitions. For more information, click here.
