Trusted Media Brands Sells Certain Studio Fun International Assets to ReaderLink

October 21, 2016 – Morrison Cohen advised Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (“TMBI”) in the sale of certain assets relating to its children's book publishing business, Studio Fun International, Inc. (“SFI U.S.”), which was formerly known as Reader's Digest Children's Publishing, Inc., to Readerlink Distribution Services, LLC (“ReaderLink”).

SFI U.S., which includes many titles licensed from Disney, Disney*Pixar, Marvel and LucasFilm properties, as well as other licensors, including DreamWorks, Mattel, Hasbro, and Sesame Workshop, will be consolidated into ReaderLink's Printers Row Publishing Group.

TMBI is a brand-driven multiplatform media company that is home to several iconic brands such as Reader's Digest, Taste of Home and The Family Handyman.  TMBI was founded in 1922 as The Reader's Digest Association, Inc., one of the first user-generated content publishers.
