Morrison Cohen’s White Collar Defense and Investigations practice group represents clients in investigations brought by governmental and regulatory agencies including the SEC, CFTC, DOJ, self-regulatory organizations, state attorneys general and district attorneys.
Our team has experience at trial in both Federal and State courts, and has broad experience encompassing all phases of complex litigation, both at the trial and appellate level. We handle a wide range of civil and white-collar criminal matters and have managed more than 125 trials and hearings before judges and juries throughout the country.
We have defended both corporations and individuals in white collar prosecutions and corporate and regulatory investigations involving allegations of securities fraud, corruption, antitrust violations, health care fraud, commodities markets manipulation, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and environmental crimes. We have experience representing corporations and corporate managers subpoenaed by Federal and State authorities in connection with commercial and civil investigations.
Our lawyers are extremely knowledgeable in State and Federal law involving money laundering and assist clients and advise other legal practitioners in avoiding or mitigating investigations.
