Morrison Cohen Appoints Three to Partner and Five to Senior Counsel

Morrison Cohen is pleased to announce the election of John B. Fulfree, Bryan R. Joggerst and David J. Kozlowski to partner, effective January 1, 2024. The firm has also promoted Chaim Bueno, Timur N. Eron, Yuliya Neverova, Collin A. Rose and Amber R. Will to senior counsel, effective January 1, 2024.

New Partners:

John B. Fulfree – Labor and Employment

John concentrates his practice on litigating, counseling and advising businesses and individuals in various industries in a wide range of labor and employment and litigation matters, including complex multi-plaintiff, multi-jurisdictional wage and hour class and collective actions, as well as sexual harassment and discrimination claims in federal and state courts. He earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.S. from Cornell University.

Bryan R. Joggerst – Corporate

Bryan counsels operating companies, private equity firms, strategic investors and portfolio companies on a wide range of activities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity financings and other complex corporate transactions. He has represented clients in industries including consumer products, industrial manufacturing, staffing solutions, technology and SaaS companies. He earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Vermont.

David J. Kozlowski – Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Governance

David helps companies navigate business and insolvency concerns and litigates related issues in major markets throughout the country. Clients such as debtors-in-possession, lenders, landlords, asset purchasers and other parties-in-interest rely on David’s counsel in navigating matters in cases ranging from large bankruptcy filings to out of court restructurings. He earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from Western Connecticut State University.

New Senior Counsel:

Chaim Bueno – Real Estate

Chaim focuses on leasing transactions, primarily emphasizing retail. He joined the Real Estate Department in 2016 from Thor Equities, where he served as Associate Counsel for over three years. He received his J.D., cum laude, from New York Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College.

Timur N. Eron – Corporate

Timur concentrates his practice on fund formation and providing counsel to fund managers and investors. He also advises start-ups and emerging companies across all sectors. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Yuliya Neverova – Business Litigation

Yuliya is an experienced business litigation attorney who has represented clients in arbitration proceedings, state courts and federal courts. She handles disputes involving an array of issues, such as breach of contract, fraud and tort claims. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School and her B.A. with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University.

Collin A. Rose – Business Litigation

Collin has a broad commercial litigation practice that focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. He represents clients in securities litigation, residential mortgage-backed securities actions, white-collar litigation and regulatory and government investigations. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Amber R. Will – Business Litigation

Amber focuses on complex commercial litigation. She counsels founders, directors, officers and other corporate professionals on a wide range of business disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, declaratory judgment and other tort claims filed in both state and federal jurisdictions. She received her J.D. from William & Mary School of Law, her M.P.P. from the College of William & Mary and her B.A. from Valparaiso University.
