Alexander Yarm Joins Morrison Cohen
Morrison Cohen welcomes Alexander Yarm to the firm as an associate in our Business Litigation Department, where his practice primarily focuses on real estate and complex commercial litigation.
A broad range of clients, including real estate developers, owners and operators, lenders and borrowers, commercial tenants, high net-worth individuals and ground lessors and lessees, rely on Alex’s counsel in an array of commercial matters, including complex lease disputes, commercial landlord/tenant litigation, corporate, partnership and LLC disputes, construction litigation and the enforcement of lease and real estate financing guarantees. Alex also has experience in commercial arbitration proceedings involving lease expense escalations, appellate litigation, actions for partition of real property, as well as in matters involving condos and co-ops and adjacent landowner and access disputes.
Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Alex was a litigation associate at Rosenberg & Estis and at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker. He was also a judicial extern to Hon. George J. Silver, former Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for the New York City Courts. Alex received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from University of Maryland.
