At Morrison Cohen, we’ve long recognized that a diverse and inclusive culture where individuals feel valued and empowered to be their best selves is critical to our success. We have made significant progress in the DEI space and remain dedicated to ongoing evolution and improvement. In recent years, we achieved our Midsize Mansfield Certification, introduced firmwide unconscious bias training, revitalized our mentorship program and held countless community events to celebrate our rich variety of backgrounds. Our efforts in DEI extend beyond our firm, with growing partnerships with organizations that champion the rights of marginalized communities and push society forward.
As a firm, we acknowledge, celebrate and host programming for holidays and cultural observances including, but not limited to, Holocaust Remembrance Day, Black History Month, Women’s Heritage Month, Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Pride Month, Juneteenth and Hispanic Heritage Month. These recognitions allow our community to explore the history, contributions and experiences of the various cultures that make our community special.
We take great pride in our commitment to DEI and recognize the considerable strides we have made in these efforts. However, we remain keenly aware that there is more work to be done, and we embrace this continuous journey towards improvement. Prioritizing inclusivity and fostering a sense of belonging in our workplace are crucial to our mission, and we are steadfast in ensuring that every individual feels valued and empowered. Moreover, we acknowledge our responsibility in promoting change and creating a more inclusive and equitable world.
