Jason Gottlieb, Daniel Isaacs and Michael Mix to Speak on Recent Developments in Cryptocurrency Litigation & Regulatory Enforcement
Morrison Cohen’s Digital Assets Partners Jason Gottlieb, Daniel Isaacs and Michael Mix will present a CLE program, “Recent Developments in Cryptocurrency Litigation & Regulatory Enforcement,” on September 23, 2024. The virtual event, hosted by the Blockchain and Web3 Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, takes place from 3:30 – 4:30 pm ET / 12:30 – 1:30 pm PT.
The attorneys will discuss the digital assets and blockchain technology sector and the legal disputes – including governmental regulatory enforcement and private litigation – resulting from this innovative technology. They first will provide a brief overview of digital assets, their history and how the technology works. They then will describe some of the most notable government enforcement actions in the digital assets space, such as the actions taken against Ripple, Coinbase and more. They also will discuss some common areas of private digital assets litigation, including some of the recurring theories and themes in those cases.
