Latisha Thompson Named “Notable Diverse Leader in Law” by Crain’s
We are proud to announce that Partner Latisha V. Thompson, Vice-Chair of Morrison Cohen’s Business Litigation Department, was selected by Crain's New York Business as a “Notable Diverse Leader in Law” in an article published on July 11, 2022.
Latisha was included among 80 diverse professionals who excel in their practice at New York's leading law firms. She was nominated by her colleagues and selected for the quality of her counseling and the nature of her pro bono work, as well her commitment to community service, philanthropy, professional mentorship, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Latisha focuses her practice on complex business disputes, and real estate litigation and restructuring. As a member of Morrison Cohen’s D&I Committee, she mentors female and minority associates and has hosted and organized affinity group events to support diverse attorneys. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
