Morrison Cohen Launches Partnership with Cardozo School of Law and Presents Inaugural Summer Award to 3L Student

Morrison Cohen presented Cardozo School of Law student Sydney Clarke with the inaugural Morrison Cohen Summer Award at the 14th Annual BALLSA Celebration on February 28, 2024.

The award, which provides summer funding to a current third-year student, reflects Morrison Cohen’s commitment to supporting legal talent and “shaping the future of our profession,” said Chair & Co-Managing Partner Steven Cooperman, who attended the celebration with COO Jenni Eastman and Director of Diversity Equity and Inclusion Bobby Codjoe.

Through Sydney’s academic excellence, collegiality, inclusion, community engagement and leadership, she “truly embodies our values,” said Chair & Co-Managing Partner Y. David Scharf. “We are honored to present her with this award.”
