Morrison Cohen Named to Vault’s 2021 “15 Best Midsize Law Firms in New York,” “Top 150 Under 150,” and "Midsize Quality of Life Rankings" for Compensation
October 15, 2020 – Morrison Cohen was named to several Vault law firm rankings for 2021, including its “15 Best Midsize Law Firms in New York” ranking which highlights the midsize law firms doing “BigLaw quality work in the largest legal market in the country, but with a smaller legal team.”
As part of Vault's annual Law Firm Associate Survey, associates across the U.S. are asked to rate and comment on various aspects of their work lives across 13 categories. Vault's “Midsize Quality of Life” rankings focus on the responses received nationally from associates at full-service and boutique firms that have 150 attorneys or fewer. Morrison Cohen was named to one of Vault's Midsize Quality of Life rankings earning a spot in Vault's 2021 “Best Midsize Law Firms for Compensation.”

In addition, the firm was named to Vault's “Top 150 Under 150” list of leading midsize law firms. Now in its sixth year, Vault created the 150 list to recognize outstanding law firms with fewer attorneys, but no less expertise, than the global megafirms that often otherwise dominate rankings and headlines.
To determine the Top 150 Under 150, Vault developed a list of the best-known and most sought-after small to midsize law firms across the U.S. Vault's editorial and research teams studied the Vault survey data, news stories, trade journals and other legal publications; spoke with lawyers in the field and reviewed other published rankings. Vault editors also assessed each firm for prestige, quality of life and professional growth opportunities, and then narrowed down the results to come up with a list of 150 law firms known for providing top-notch service and delivering big results.
