Morrison Cohen Represents Félix in $75 Million Series B Investment Round
Congratulations to client Félix Pago, a remittance startup, on its $75 million Series B round, led by QED Investors, with participation from Monashees, Switch Ventures, Castle Island, HTwenty, Endeavor Catalyst Fund and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund.
The Miami-based startup, which handled more than $1 billion of money transfers in 2024 through its platform operated on WhatsApp, plans to expand operations to more countries in Latin America and broaden its product offering beyond remittances to offer credit products and savings accounts.
Founded in 2020, Félix aims to capture market share from traditional remittance giants like Western Union and MoneyGram, targeting the $160 billion in annual money transfers sent to Latin America.
The Morrison Cohen team representing Félix Pago was led by Counsel Andrew Wallach, with support from Partner Anthony Saur and Associate Sanyukta Saraf. Attorneys from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP served as co-counsel.
