Vani Upadhyaya Appointed President-Elect of South Asian Bar Association of New York
Congratulations to Associate Vani Upadhyaya, who was appointed president-elect of the South Asian Bar Association of New York (SABANY). Vani will serve as president-elect for the 2024-2025 term and assume the presidency for the 2025-2026 term. The induction ceremony for the 2024-25 leadership team was conducted by Justice Anil C. Singh of the New York Supreme Court on November 18, 2024.
“I am honored to be chosen as president-elect of SABANY,” said Vani, who currently serves on SABANY’s board as the vice president of private sector. “I believe strongly in the organization’s mission of promoting the professional development of the South Asian legal community through networking, advocacy and mentoring. I am excited to lend my knowledge and passion to the role of president-elect.”
Vani focuses her practice at Morrison Cohen on litigation, arbitration and regulatory enforcement relating to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
