With over 25 years of experience, Andy Bank focuses his practice on the acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of commercial property, with an emphasis on retail leasing transactions, in New York City and nationally.
Andy advises national retailers and owners of regional shopping and lifestyle centers, office towers and mixed-use buildings in commercial real estate transactions.
Purchasers and sellers of real estate properties, including office buildings, retail properties, shopping centers, apartment buildings, commercial condominium units, warehouses and mixed-use properties, appreciate Andy’s knowledge, depth of experience and commercial approach. He is adept at negotiating joint venture agreements, financings (both senior and mezzanine loans), and development and construction agreements. In addition, tenants and landlords of shopping centers, lifestyle centers, outlet centers and street locations turn to Andy for representation in negotiating retail and office leases throughout the United States and Canada.
As a complement to his real estate practice, Andy has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and financings. He is a frequent speaker at functions for the International Council of Shopping Centers.
