Cesar Rodriguez focuses his practice on matters pertaining to intellectual property, regulated markets, international trade and investments, and corporate law.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Cesar was a corporate associate at Seibel & Henriquez in the Dominican Republic. There, he counseled clients on corporate transactions and governance matters, negotiated and drafted corporate partnerships, financing, and commercial agreements, and advised in mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to practicing corporate law, Cesar was a business litigation associate at S&H, where he advised and represented individuals and businesses in all stages of commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation.
Cesar’s clients have included a buyer in the acquisition of a major sportsbook platform in the US, the purchaser of the most visited website in the Dominican Republic, several Major League Baseball teams in various aspects of their academy operations and infrastructure development in the Dominican Republic, and multiple Web3 and blockchain companies that are shaping the financial industry.
Cesar holds a Master’s of Laws (LL.M.) in Law, Technology & Entrepreneurship from Cornell Law School and Cornell Tech; a Master’s in International Commerce Management from Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica (UNA)/ Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo; and a Bachelor of Laws, cum laude, from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
