Dawn Sudama focuses her bankruptcy practice on representing debtors, creditors and other parties-in-interest in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Dawn was an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and was previously an associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. While in law school, she was a judicial extern to the Hon. Louis A. Scarcella of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

  • Represented a major discount retailer in connection with their claims in the chapter 11 and liquidation proceedings.
  • Represented a reinsurance firm in connection with chapter 15 proceedings and advised local counsel in related U.K. insolvency proceedings.
  • Represented a certification company in connection with its transaction with a global investment firm.
