Isaac Grossman is an accomplished tax lawyer whose experience complements the varied and international nature of the firm’s practice and clients.
Isaac’s practice focuses on tax issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, private investment funds, international transactions and real estate matters.
Isaac is experienced in a broad variety of tax matters. His focus has been domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, private investment funds, such as private equity funds and hedge funds, reorganizations and restructurings, both in and out of bankruptcy, international tax and real estate. He has represented clients before the IRS as well as foreign, state and local tax authorities, and has successfully obtained private letter rulings from the IRS on numerous matters.
Isaac has advised multinational companies based both in the US and abroad in the media, energy, financial and service industries. In addition, Isaac has been involved for many years in the entertainment industry. He has structured the acquisition of several sports franchises and advised on league issues. He has also designed several film financings around the world and in the US. Isaac has published widely and has served as a speaker, lecturer and teacher in the tax area.
Isaac joined Morrison Cohen in 2003. He began his career at Proskauer Rose LLP and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, and prior to joining Morrison Cohen, he was a partner in the Tax Department of Clifford Chance LLP.
