Nancy Nardella focuses her practice on all aspects of retail leasing transactions, including regional shopping centers, mixed use centers, outlet centers, neighborhood centers and street and office locations for international, national and regional retail clients, as well as small single-store start-ups.
Nancy has extensive experience in representing both landlords and tenants in a variety of leasing transactions, including assignments and subleases in connection with the sale and acquisition of retail stores, early termination agreements, amendments, subordination and nondisturbance agreements, estoppel certificates, lease guarantees and consents in every major U.S. market. Nancy has counseled clients on development and redevelopment issues and lease operational issues such as lease administration, dispute resolution, improvement allowance claims, construction work letters and letters of intent. Nancy also advises clients in connection with cross-border lease transactions.
Prior to joining Morrison Cohen in 2003, Nancy worked for Simon Property Group in their New York office (1998 – 2003), and Corporate Property Investors (which merged with Simon Property Group in 1998).
