Rachel’s experience includes defending and advising companies and individuals in investigations and enforcement actions by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and state regulators. She also has experience representing individuals in civil litigation, as well as conducting internal investigations and assessing compliance and litigation risks.
Rachel has a strong commitment to public service and pro bono work. Her pro bono practice has involved representing an incarcerated woman in her application for resentencing under the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act and documentary film organizations in a suit challenging U.S. Department of State rules pursuant to the First Amendment and Administrative Procedure Act.
Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Rachel was a litigation associate at a major international law firm and litigation boutique and clerked for the Hon. Ona T. Wang in the Southern District of New York. Before law school, she worked as a paralegal at the New York County District Attorney’s Office.
