Affinity Groups
Embracing our differences and providing a welcome environment in support of all.
As a firm, we strive to foster a community built on the principle that our strength comes from both similarities and differences. To that end, our affinity groups are open to all members of the Morrison Cohen community and enable members to connect, share their experiences and provide a platform to celebrate our rich and varied backgrounds.
The Women’s Initiative Network (WIN), co-chaired by partners Jessica Lipson and Gayle Pollack, seeks to support and foster the development, engagement and retention of our women lawyers. WIN organizes skill-building workshops and peer coaching programs designed to deepen participants’ self-awareness and ability to listen actively and to support their peers both in and outside the workplace.
As more law firms continue to make strides to level the playing field and put a greater emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion, WIN hopes this will encourage more women to remain in their legal careers for the long term. By pausing to appreciate each other’s perspectives and contributions, we help strengthen our understanding of, and connections to one another – a critical step in the ongoing battle to knock down barriers and achieve true equality for all.
