Zainah Gilles Joins Morrison Cohen
March 29, 2021 - Morrison Cohen welcomes Zainah Gilles to the firm as an associate in the Corporate Department.
Zai received her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts in French from Barnard College, Columbia University. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and general corporate matters, and has represented private equity firms and strategic investors clients based out of the U.S. as well as in South America, Europe, and Canada. She has also assisted special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) with business combinations.
Zai has worked on pro bono projects with organizations like the Start Small Think Big, Know Your Rights Campaign, and African Centre for Justice and Peace Studies. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association and Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
