Bruce Levine has more than 25 years of experience representing lenders and borrowers in all types of secured and unsecured financing transactions.

Bruce regularly advises institutional lenders, commercial banks, private equity funds, investors and borrowers in a variety of domestic and international financings, including syndicated loans, acquisition financings, second lien financings, asset based facilities, subordinated debt instruments, mezzanine financings and other complex and traditional transactions. He also counsels private banks in lending against unique kinds of collateral, including fine art owned by both collectors and dealers and interests in professional sports teams.

Bruce has extensive experience dealing with troubled loans involving workouts and restructurings, and has advised clients in connection with Chapter 11 debtor-in-possession and exit financings.

Bruce joined Morrison Cohen in 2012.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen:

Represented a foreign agent bank in a $250 million bilateral multiple draw term loan facility provided to an owner of convenience stores 

Represented agent bank in an $80 million asset based loan facility to an apparel manufacturer

Represented agent bank in a $100 million revolving loan facility to a bank holding company

Represented a private bank in a $60 million asset based loan facility to an art gallery.

Represented agent bank in an amended and restated $140 million multiple draw term loan receivables funding facility to a special purpose vehicle

Represented a manufacturer of nutraceuticals in a workout and forbearance arrangement with its first and second lien lenders

Represented an art collector in a $150 million syndicated term loan credit facility

Represented a private bank in a $600 million syndicated loan facility secured by extensive art collection and real estate holdings

Represented agent bank in a $125 million syndicated senior credit facility to an ESOP manufacturer of equipment

Represented a foreign agent bank in a $340 million revolving loan facility containing a $100 million overdraft facility

Represented a bank in both $25 million committed and $50 million uncommitted loan facilities to a leading insurance services provider

Represented a Major League Baseball franchise as a borrower in numerous loan facilities

Represented a specialty finance company in a $10 million warehouse loan facility to an art financing lender

Represented a commercial bank in a $100 million standby letter of credit facility on behalf of a Bermuda reinsurance company

Represented a commercial bank in an $85 million senior secured credit facility to the purchaser of an interest in an NHL franchise.

Represented a 200-store jewelry chain in its Chapter 11 financing and its exit financing with first and second lien lenders

Represented a venture capital firm in a Chapter 11 financing to one of its portfolio companies

Represented an international aviation leasing company in repossessing an aircraft from a defaulting lessee by seizure

Represented a hedge fund in a $15 million PIK loan to the owner company of a National Hockey League club
